Kia Oval Cricket Ground redevelopment
The prestigious international venue uses KWC DVS for washroom redevelopment
International cricket ground, the Kia Oval at Kennington, in the London Borough of Lambeth, South London, has undergone a significant redevelopment of its washroom facilities and used KWC DVS products to fulfil its requirements. This latest round of modernisation has taken the capacity to more than 25,300, making it the second-largest cricket ground in the country behind Lord’s.
KWC DVS were thrilled to be chosen by professional M & E Contractor, Mectric Solutions to provide a complete range of sanitaryware, including stainless steel and composite sanitaryware. Products such as their composite Miranit washtroughs, stainless steel urinals, washbasins and WCs, plus complementing grab rails, were all part of the installation.
Martin Cosgrove from Mectric Solutions commented, “Product quality was a huge factor in deciding which supplier to choose for such a prestigious project, and with KWC DVS, we knew we would get the best quality that would last for years to come, and still look good too! The fact that they can offer the complete solution and in a choice of materials was a bonus, as it saved us time from having to source from different suppliers.”
