A Fresh Start for Mansfield Road Baptist Church’s Washrooms
When Mansfield Road Baptist Church decided it was time to modernise its washrooms, they knew they needed a solution that would stand the test of time and serve everyone who comes through their doors.
From weekly services and prayer groups to children’s clubs and community events, this welcoming church in Nottingham is a busy hub for people of all ages. The washrooms needed to reflect that same sense of care and hospitality, while also handling daily use with ease.
To bring their vision to life, Mansfield Road Baptist Church partnered with Inspired Washrooms, experts in creating fresh, practical spaces for schools, churches, and community buildings.
Chris Kightley and his team at Inspired Washrooms knew that choosing the right products would be key to delivering a high-quality finish that would last for years so they turned to KWC DVS.
For this refurbishment, a mix of Quadro Miranit washbasins and F3SV1001 self-closing taps were specified to make the space not only functional but also modern and easy to maintain.
Here’s what went in:
1 x Single Quadro Miranit Washbasin (600mm, 1 taphole)
1 x Double Quadro Miranit Washbasin (1400mm, 2 tapholes)
1 x Triple Quadro Miranit Washbasin (2100mm, 3 tapholes)
6 x F3SV1001 Self-Closing Pillar Taps
The Quadro Miranit washbasins are moulded from a tough resin and granite composite. They’re smooth, seamless, and non-porous which means they’re not only easy to clean but strong enough to handle the knocks and scrapes of everyday use.
To complement the new basins, the church installed six F3SV1001 self-closing pillar taps. These clever taps are designed to help reduce water waste an important benefit for any community building looking to manage costs and be more sustainable.
Their simple push-button design means they’re easy for children, families, and older visitors to use. And with their sturdy brass and chrome finish, they’ll keep looking good for years to come.
“It All Comes Together”
Reflecting on the project, Chris Kightley, Director at Inspired Washrooms, said:
“When you’re refurbishing a community space like Mansfield Road Baptist Church, it’s not just about fitting new sinks and taps. It’s about giving people a space that’s welcoming, easy to use, and built to last. The KWC DVS washbasins and taps helped us do exactly that they look fantastic and tick every box for quality and practicality.”
This resulted in the washrooms being bright, modern washrooms that feel fresh and hygienic and make everyone feel welcome, whether they’re attending Sunday service, a midweek club, or a special community event.
By choosing trusted products from KWC DVS, Mansfield Road Baptist Church has made a long-term investment in their facilities one that will keep serving their congregation and wider community for years to come.
