Old Swinford Hospital elevates student facilities with KWC DVS washroom upgrade
Old Swinford Hospital School, a historic and respected school in Stourbridge, has continued its commitment to providing high-quality facilities for its students and staff with the completion of Phase Two of its washroom refurbishment led by Inspired Washrooms. Having already experienced the durability and clean design of KWC DVS products during Phase One with three SOLX1200T washtroughs already in place the school knew they wanted the same reliability for the next stage of their project.
For Phase Two, the Inspired Washrooms team specified a carefully selected range of KWC DVS products to elevate the washroom facilities further while ensuring ease of maintenance for staff and ease of use for pupils. This included the installation of two ANMW411 Quadro single washbasins, each with a single taphole, and a new SOLX1200T two-person Miranit washtrough, adding additional handwashing points for busy break and lunchtimes. A SOLX1800T three-person Miranit washtrough was also installed, providing robust and hygienic facilities that can withstand the high footfall of a busy school environment while maintaining a modern, seamless appearance.
To complement these washtroughs, seven F3SV1101 self-closing pillar taps were installed, providing water-saving, tamper-resistant operation perfect for educational settings. The taps’ intuitive push operation makes them easy for pupils to use, while their reliable self-closing functionality supports the school’s sustainability goals by reducing unnecessary water waste.
By working with Inspired Washrooms and KWC DVS, Old Swinford Hospital School has successfully upgraded its washrooms into hygienic, user-friendly spaces that blend practicality with modern design, ensuring they are well-prepared for the daily demands of school life for years to come.
